Amarin Dawn

About

Amarin Dawn is a nature-based guide and facilitator offering immersive experiences that support healing, remembrance, and reconnection—within ourselves, with one another, and with the living Earth. With over 25 years of experience in mindfulness, somatic practices, and ecotherapy, Amarin’s work is deeply rooted in long-term relationship with the forests and ecosystems of the Bragg Creek and Elbow River watershed. Her practice is informed by seasonal attunement, land-based observation, and reciprocal stewardship, honouring the wisdom of place as an essential partner in healing. Rooted in ecopsychology, trauma-informed care, and embodied awareness, Amarin weaves together forest therapy, restorative and Yin yoga, meditation, ceremonial space-holding, and place-based immersions. Her offerings invite people to slow down, listen deeply, and return to the innate intelligence of body, heart, and land. At the heart of her work lives a simple but powerful invitation: All Hearts on Deck. A call to show up fully—to life, to love, to healing, and to the collective journey we are walking together. In Amarin’s spaces, every voice matters, every story belongs, and every heart is welcomed into the circle. Amarin is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, Awake in the Wild Facilitator, and Healing with Nature Trauma Care Practitioner, with over 25 years of yoga and meditation teaching experience. Her background also includes wilderness medicine, energy-based modalities, and holistic nourishment, supporting a truly integrative approach to wellbeing. She is known for creating containers that feel both deeply held and gently spacious—where people can rest, explore, release, and remember who they are beneath conditioning and busyness. Her work supports nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, spiritual inquiry, and a renewed sense of belonging to the more-than-human community. Whether guiding a silent winter retreat, a forest-based immersion, a contemplative gathering, or a fireside circle, Amarin leads with humility, devotion, and trust in life’s unfolding. She believes that when people gather with sincerity, courage, and open hearts, something larger than us begins to move. Her work is an offering to this moment in history—a time that asks for presence, tenderness, and brave love. All hearts on deck. All hands in the soil. All beings remembered.

Personal HWN Practice

Aside from daily tree hugging…. morning sit and yoga practice out within the forest. One of my favorite practices is hammock hang time, bundled up in my heated sleeping bag , cradled, rocked by the Chinook winds. When the weight on my heart feels overwhelming, sharing my tears with the river during a plunge never fails to remind me I am alive with countless blessings!
